
A hint about me
I feel one kind of fascination for the Merchandising profession since i studied in the textile engineering. It’s me who with over 14 years of hands-on experience in the apparel and textile industry, my career spans key roles in vertically integrated manufacturing setups and international buying houses, equipping me with both operational depth and global sourcing acumen.
• I spent more than 13 years with a reputed group of companies operating a 140-line vertical setup specializing in knitwear.
• Currently I have over one year of experience with a multinational buying house, managing orders, sourcing, and participating in merchandising operations for a wide range of products including knitwear, woven garments, outerwear, denim, lingerie, sportswear, caps, socks, and more.
• I had the privilege of leading a $40 million per annum business portfolio at Crony Group. My responsibilities included managing a large merchandising team of 18 professionals and ensuring smooth coordination with cross-functional departments to meet strict international standards and deadlines. I also briefly led the Crony Group design studio in 2024, driving innovation in product development and trend alignment.
• A key part of my expertise lies in detailed cost engineering, including pricing across all components: yarn, fabric, dyeing, CM, SMV, trims, accessories, and embellishments.
• I am proficient in ERP systems, Fastreact, and Microsoft Office tools, and have also applied my skills in video editing and digital content creation using tools like Filmora12, Camtasia, and Adobe Photoshop.
• My professional network includes strong relationships with over 120 garment manufacturers and 100+ fabric and trim suppliers, which supports my work in sourcing and vendor management.
• I’ve handled key international accounts including ID-KIDS (Okaidi, Obaibi, Jacadi), Takko Fashion, Teddy, Auchan, Toray, Leon and Harper, Playful Promises, D-Rove, El Corte Inglés, Primark, Tom Tailor, GEMO, and others.
• Additionally, I bring proven expertise in digital marketing and buyer sourcing—leveraging online tools and strategic outreach to develop new business opportunities and strengthen brand visibility.
